Katie Beth Pate Allen helped lead Lipscomb to 52 wins in its first four full seasons at the Division I level. She was key in guiding the Lady Bisons to the program’s first Atlantic Sun championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2004. Despite dealing with injuries her last two seasons, she played in 108 career games and scored 1,078 points while shooting 44 percent from the field. Known for her defensive prowess, she averaged 8.7 rebounds per game and set the program’s career record with 327 blocked shots in the NCAA era. In the 2003-04 championship season, she averaged 11.9 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.6 blocks per game while being named second team All-Conference and MVP of the A-Sun Championship.
