Kelli Dobbins Hasley played softball for Lipscomb from 1998-2001 and is considered one of the greatest players in Lipscomb Softball history. Kelli was twice selected NAIA All American (1998 and 1999) for her play as an outstanding hitter and for her excellent defensive tenacity at first base. She was also named All-Conference and All-Region three times – in 1998, 1999 and 2000. Kelli was named TransSouth Conference Player of the Year in 1998 and 2000, and she was chosen Region Player of the Year in 1998. Considered one of the great hitters in Lipscomb Softball history, Kelli still holds three program records: All-time career batting average leader (.421), career RBI leader (189), and All-time hits leader (279). During Kelli’s career she led the Lipscomb Softball program to 171 wins and two appearances in the NAIA National Tournament (1998 and 2000.) Kelli Dobbins Hasley will always be remembered for her outstanding athleticism and for her significant role in establishing a winning tradition for Lipscomb Softball.
