Hall of Fame
Kenyatta Perry played basketball for the Bisons from 1993-97 where he compiled a career many consider to be one of the greatest in Lipscomb Basketball history. He began as a promising, hard-nosed freshman from Clarksville and finished his career as Lipscomb’s fifth all-time leading scorer with 2,118 career points.  For his play Kenyatta earned a spot on the NAIA All-American Second Team in 1996 and NAIA All-American First Team in 1997. Known as a complete player with his ability to score, defend, and share the ball with his teammates, Kenyatta quickly became a crowd favorite with his amazing rebounding and rim-rattling dunks.  His teammates praised his selflessness, his passing acumen, and his dedication to constant improvement. His professional career has mirrored the effort he exhibited on the Bison basketball floor --he has devoted his life to helping young people as an outstanding high school coach and teacher. Kenyatta Perry will always be remembered as one of Lipscomb’s all-time great players, teammates, and friends.
