Kristin started all four years as a two-sport athlete in softball and volleyball. She compiled a career .303 batting average with 193 hits, 156 runs scored, 73 RBI, 81 walks, 34 doubles, 17 triples and 41 stolen bases. She was a two-time All-Region honoree in 2000 and 2001 and a 3-time All-Conference selection in softball (All-TranSouth in 2000 & 2001, All-Independent in 2002). The leadoff hitter started all but one game in her Lipscomb softball career and she helped lead the softball team to the Elite 8 of the 2000 NAIA National Tournament with a 41-18 record. In her volleyball career, she led the Atlantic Sun Conference with 479 kills and was named second team All-Conference in 2003. Her 58 aces in 2003 ranks as the sixth-most in a single-season in league history. In 2004 she was named the recipient of the James R. Byers Award and the Kinesiology Outstanding Major of the Year. Kristin was also was named the NCAA Woman of the Year for the state of Tennessee in 2004. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.97 GPA.
