Sarah Marcrom played for Lipscomb from 1993-97 and left her mark on the court and in the classroom. She led her teams to an impressive four-year record of 123-27, an 82% winning percentage. Sarah played in 132 games, collected 384 rebounds, and scored 1,461 points, including 503 field goals, 189 three-pointers and 266 free throws. She set the single season three-point percentage record (48%) in 1996, when she was named TranSouth All-Conference and Third Team NAIA All-American. She was named Second Team All-Tournament in the 1995 and 1996 NAIA National Tournaments. Sarah was vital in building Lipscomb into a national power and advancing to the NAIA National Championship game in 1994, the Final Four in 1995 and 1996, and the Sweet Sixteen in 1997. She helped lead Lipscomb to a program record for wins in 1995 (35-4), capturing the TCAC Tournament Championship. In 1996 the Bisons were a perfect 18-0 in conference play, winning a record 22 consecutive games on the way to a TCAC regular season championship. In addition, Sarah was an All-Conference Scholar Athlete all three years she was eligible.
