KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Lipscomb women’s golf team wrapped up action in the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic in 41st place on Tuesday at the Osprey Point Golf Club in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
Herd notes:
- The Lady Bisons combined to shoot a +106, 970 (332-318-320) in the 54-hole event.
- Jenny Muesing led the way for Lipscomb with a +16, 238 (79-77-82) to tie for 145th..
- Ines Konschewitz finished five strokes behind Muesing with a +21, 243 (81-78-84) in a tie for 178th.
- Lauryn Davidson tied for 189th behind a +23, 245 (86-80-79).
- Samantha Griffith trailed Davidson by three strokes with a +26, 248 (86-84-78) to finish tied for 199th.
- Charley Benefield rounded out the field for Lipscomb with a +29,251 (87-83-81) in a tie for 210th.
- Coastal Carolina took home top team honors with a +6, 870 (289-295-286) edging host College of Charleston by one stroke.
- College of Charleston’s Laura Fuenfstueck took home medalist honors at -8.
