NASHVILLE - The Lipscomb women's golf team is set to begin its spring season as it heads to the Amelia Island Collegiate.
The Bisons will play 54-holes over the course of two days (Feb. 17-18) at the Amelia National Golf Club, located in Fernandina Beach, Florida, on a par-72 course that runs 6,029 yards.
Plenty of familiar faces will be participating along side the Purple and Gold as four other ASUN Conference members are apart of the field: FGCU, host team Jacksonville, North Florida and Stetson. Live scoring will be available through GolfStat.
Coming off a historic fall season, Lipscomb will look to keep its success going in 2020. The Bisons came away with two team titles at the MSU Greenbrier Invitational and Butler Fall Invitational, along with two runner-up team finishes at the Lady Red Wolves Classic and the Town and Country Invitational. The only tournament in which Lipscomb did not place either in first or second during the fall was at the Bubba Burger Jacksonville Classic where it finished in eighth.
Over the course of the fall season, the Bisons set multiple school records, which are listed below:

Lowest 18-hole Score (Team) - 285 at 2019 Town and Country Invitational
-
Lowest 36-hole Score (Team) - 592 at 2019 Lady Red Wolves Classic

Keeling also had her name added to the record books multiple times. The Farragut, Tenn. native tied the second lowest 18-hole individual score with two rounds of 70 at the Lady Red Wolves Classic, has the first and second lowest 36-hole individual scores for her totals of 140 at the Lady Red Wolves Classic and 144 at the MSU Greenbrier Invitational and set the lowest 54-hole individual score at the Lady Red Wolves Classic at 217.
Rachael McMahan had an excellent fall season as well. The senior recorded three top-15 finishes, including her best individual finish in third at the Butler Fall Invitational (76-74-74=224). Her third place finish earned her to be named the ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week. McMahan was able to add herself among the record books as well tying for the lowest 18-hole individual score after firing a 69 in the final round of the Lady Red Wolves Classic and setting the second-lowest 54-hole individual score of 218, also during the Lady Red Wolves Classic.
