NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Lipscomb University Athletics Spiritual Formation has launched its annual 555 Prayer Card Campaign, and director Chris Klotz says he could not be more excited to see how The Spirit of God moves through this year's participants and student-athletes.

"Seven years ago, we initiated a prayer campaign asking Lipscomb faculty and staff to pray for five student-athletes five minutes a day, five days a week for an entire year," said Klotz. "Last year, God allowed this campaign to grow even bigger by reaching families of student-athletes, friends of the university, faculty of other schools across the country and even fellow Lipscomb students committing to pray over their five student-athletes each day. We are again trusting God with every detail of the 555 prayer cards!

"Our prayer is that through this campaign, each student-athlete may experience the encouragement, protection and guidance that only comes from God," Klotz continued. "The ultimate goal is to lift each student-athlete up in prayer so that they may know the Lord and live the abundant life that He offers to those who love Him."

Klotz says the 555 Prayer Card Campaign is truly unique because it reminds each one of us that it's not just one person, or one situation that God uses to change lives, but there is a much greater picture that God is weaving together.

"It has been so humbling and exciting to see how God has moved in the lives of these athletes and prayer card holders year-after-yearand we are confident it's because the Lord is faithful and hears the prayers of His people."
