NASHVILLE – Incoming Track & Field freshman
Liza Corso has qualified for the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020. She will represent Team USA Track & Field in the 1500m run.
Corso will be part of the 240-member 2020 U.S. Paralympic Team that includes six guides for visually-impaired athletes. The games will kick off Aug. 24 with competition concluding Sunday, Sept. 6.
NBCUniversal will showcase more than 1,200 hours of Paralympic programming and there will be more than 200 hours of TV coverage between NBC, NBCSN and the Olympic Channel.
Corso will compete in the T13 1500m final on Saturday, Aug. 28. The time of the race has yet to be set but will be between 5 a.m. CST and 8 a.m. CST.
