
Corso Wins Silver at Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020

TOKYO, Japan – Lipscomb Track & Field freshman Liza Corso took home Silver at the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 this morning in the 1500m T13.
A gutsy performance at Olympic Stadium Saturday morning saw Corso cross the finish line with a massive PR time of 4:30.67 to claim the Silver Medal.
Corso is the first Lipscomb athlete to compete or medal in the Paralympic Games.
Corso will come back to Nashville donning her Silver Medal and will compete with the Track & Field and Cross Country programs this fall.
