
Women’s Cross Country Remains Nationally Ranked After Week 2

NASHVILLE – Lipscomb women's cross country ranked 27th in the NCAA's USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Women's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll in week 2 of the season, announced on Tuesday.
The Bisons were ranked 11th in the USTFCCCA NCAA Preseason Coaches' Poll and were ranked 13th after week 1. Since then, the Bisons have maintained their place in the top-30 programs across the nation while also securing the No. 5 spot in the South Region behind Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, and Ole Miss.
Lipscomb is looking to stay in the rankings as the only team representing the ASUN in the national poll. The Bisons will compete next on Oct. 18th when they head to Evansville, IN to compete in the Angel Mounds Invitational.
