Colbi Borland Earns Her ASUN Cross Country Women’s Runner of the Week after Pre-Nationals

NASHVILLE, TN – Senior Colbi Borland placed 58th overall in the Pre-Nationals on Oct. 19th and was named the ASUN Cross Country Women's Runner of the Week.
Borland ran a 20:17.9 in the 6k to lead the Bisons at the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals. Her average 2000M pace was around a 6:46, running the first leg in 6:30.8, the second leg in 6:58.4, and the final left in 6:48.9. Borland's performance placed her above 193 runners and led the Bisons to place 16th of 33 teams at the meet.
Borland is running in her fourth season for the Bisons this year since joining the squad from high school in 2021. Last cross country season, Barnett earned a spot to run at the NCAA Division I South Region Cross Country Championship where she recorded a personal best in the 6k with a time of 19:37.7.
Lipscomb's next meet will be at the ASUN Championships in Jacksonville, FL. on Friday, Nov 1st.
