Location: Clarksville, TN. (Morgan Bros. Field)

Lipscomb took on local ASUN rival Austin Peay for their final regular season match to enter the ASUN Championship tournament with a 2-0 victory, marking their 4th shutout victory in a row

Neither team particularly started better than the other, both equally sharing possession time. Going into the match both the Bisons and Govs knew that a win could change their entire postseason experience with the 3rd-6th place teams all being within 3 points of each other.

The Bisons nearly had a scoring opportunity in the 9' minute Lucy Hurst found an open shot but was unfortunately denied by the crossbar. Hurst's efforts sparked Lipscomb's energy early into the match and within the next 6 minutes, the Bisons recorded 3 more shots.

By halftime, Austin Peay had managed to slow Lipscomb down. In the latter 30 minutes of the half, Lipscomb recorded 0 shots, holding them substantially below their average of 10 shots a half.

Defensively, the Bisons held the Govs to one shot in the first 45 minutes. Lipscomb also did not allow any corner kicks from Austin Peay during the first half.

The first goal scored by either team was by Kiara Pralle in the 56' minute. Alivia Carapazza executed the throw in for the Bisons and found Pralle, who was able to shake the defender off her back and score uncontested.

As if scoring 15 goals on the season was not enough, Pralle found the back of the net again in the 81' minute. Bella Carapazza took the corner kick for the Bisons and Pralle rocketed the shot across the goal line and into the top of the goal. Her 16th goal keeps her in the nation's top goal-scoring rankings.

Lipscomb closed out the regular season on a 4-game shutout win streak, combining for 11 goals throughout the past 2 weeks. The Bisons will look forward to hosting ASUN Championship play at Lipscomb Soccer Complex in hopes of winning their 4th ASUN Tournament Championship.
