CHATTANOOGA, Ten. – Lipscomb Women's Golf finished out its regular season at the Chattanooga Classic on Tuesday. The squad finished 13
th in the field with a total score of 903 (+51).
Once again,
Lauren Thompson led the way for the Bisons like she has so many times this season. She started slow with a 76 in the first round, but picked up with a 72 and 73 in the second and third rounds, respectively. All told, Thompson was (+8) on the event. Thompson had 29 pars and 10 birdies.
Freshman Zi Yu Foong shot the next-best score for the Bisons, finishing (+12). Her best round was a 73 in the second round of action. Foong carded a 77 in the first round and a 75 in the third round as she tied for 39
th.
Ally Williams tied for 60
th with a (+16). She had a 76 and 75 in the first and second round, respectively and finished with a 75 in the final round.
Mary Kate smith and
Katya Tibbetts rounded things out for Lipscomb. Smith tied for 68
th while Tibbetts tied for 82
nd. Smith finished (+17) with scores of 78, 77, 75. Tibbetts carded scores of 76, 83, 78.
Competing as an individual,
Tzunami Polito posted scores of 77, 80, 79 to finish (+23) and in 81
st place.
