BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lipscomb University women's tennis team took down Western Kentucky University by a 5-2 score, Sunday afternoon from the Warren County Tennis Facility.
With the victory, the Bisons secured their fifth win in the last seven meetings versus the Hilltoppers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bisons were in a hole after doubles play, as the Hilltoppers picked up identical 6-3 wins at the top two flights.
Despite
Rut Galindo's 6-2, 6-2 win to put Lipscomb on the board, Emily Schut made it a 2-1 advantage for Western Kentucky.
Despite being down, the Bisons maintained composure.
Mariia Dolzhenko used a 7-6 (1) win in the opening set to pick up the dub at the No. 2 position and even the match at two points apiece.
Deborah Dominguez Collado had two strong sets and came out on top in both, 7-5, 7-6 (1) to give the Bisons the lead for good.
Down the 1- and 5-singles for the match, Lipscomb and Western Kentucky played three sets in both. After splitting the first two sets,
Sofiia Paladi came back to clinch the match for the visitors with a 6-3 win.
Serafima Bobrovnikova made it a 5-2 win after rallying from losing the first set, 4-6, 6-1, 6-4.
