James Schmidt Earns ASUN Men's Track Athlete of the Week

NASHVILLE, TN – James Schmidt earned the ASUN award for Men's Track Athlete of the Week after a dominant performance at the Indoor Music City Challenge in Nashville.
Schmidt became the third Bison to run a sub-four mile with a time of 3:58.93, a personal best. His time currently ranks as the second-best in Lipscomb Indoor Track and Field history. He also ran a 1:50.23 in the 800m, which is the current season-best time by any men's track athlete in the ASUN. Schmidt's impressive resume this past week earned him his second ASUN weekly honor.
