Alyssa Hastings Earns ASUN Softball Player of the Week

NASHVILLE, TN. – After week eight of softball, the ASUN announced that Alyssa Hastings has been voted the conference's Player of the Week.
Throughout the Bisons' four games this past week, Hastings sported a batting average of .400 and drew four walks for an on-base percentage of .571. She scored five runs and knocked in six RBI. Hastings launched two home runs this past Friday in Lipscomb's ASUN series-opening games against Bellarmine. Her slugging percentage was outstanding, leading the team for the week with 1.000.
Defensively, Hastings recorded six putouts and eleven assists with no errors. The sophomore captain leads the ASUN in doubles with 13 and ranks in the top ten in eight stat categories this season.
