JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Lipscomb University women's tennis team saw the 2025 season come to an end on Friday afternoon with a 4-2 loss to top-seed Stetson University in the semifinals of the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Tennis Championship.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bisons secured the doubles point for the second straight match, as the top two flights took home victories.
Deborah Dominguez Collado and
Rut Galindo (10-3) won on court two over Anastasija Adeikyte and Katsiaryna Tuliakova.
On court one,
Mariia Dolzhenko and
Sofiia Paladi (9-6) won their third straight with a 6-3 score versus Cheri Darley and Alanna DiFrancesco.
However, the Hatters came out strong in singles play with three straight wins on courts three, two and five to flip the score to 3-1.
Dominguez Collado (11-9) kept the Bisons' hopes alive with her win on the fourth flight, but ASUN Player of the Year Cheri Darley clinched the match on court one for the Hatters.
HERD NOTES
Lipscomb played in the ASUN Semifinals for the seventh time in program history.
