Yu, Thompson Earn All-ASUN Honors

NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Women's Golf's Casey Yu and Lauren Thompson earned All-ASUN honors, the league announced Tuesday. Yu was named Third Team All-ASUN while Thompson was named Academic All-ASUN.
CASEY YU – THIRD TEAM ALL-ASUN
Yu led the Bisons this season, scoring a team-high 74.3 scoring average over 32 total rounds played. Yu had one top-three finish, finishing third in the ASUN Conference Championship. She had four other top-10 finishes over her 11 tournaments played. Her best round of the season was a 67 (-5) in her first round at The Nashville Invitational. She had five rounds under par this season and finished with an overall record of 544-235-33.
LAUREN THOMPSON – ACADEMIC ALL-ASUN
Thompson boasts a 4.0 while studying for a degree in graphic design. The senior had a 76.0 stroke average over 32 rounds. Her best finish was a fourth place finish at The Robbie. She put in a solid first round of 70 (-2) in the first round of the ASUN Tournament as one of her three rounds under par. The honor marks her second career and second-consecutive Academic All-ASUN honor.
