HOW IT HAPPENED
The Colonels got out to a strong start with the doubles point, clinching the No. 1 and 3 flights.

Despite the slow start, Rut Galindo (9-8) won her third straight singles contest with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Ceylin Ipek on court three that evened the Sunday battle at a point apiece.

Sofiia Paladi (25-7) picked up her 14th win of the spring season, all coming from the top flight, with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Masha Fedenko to give the visiting Bisons the 2-1 lead.

EKU tied it a two points apiece with a three-set win on court four, but Serafima Bobrovnikova (16-10) earned her 10th win of the spring with a 6-3, 6-1 victory against Izem Elif Olcer from the fifth spot in the lineup to lead 3-2

Despite Lipscomb's chances to win the match on court two with two tiebreak sets, Sasha Parkhomernko put the match back even at three points each.

On court six, Sofiia Zhylchuk (15-10) rolled to a straight-set win versus Zhansaya Bakytzhan, 6-2, 7-5, to help Lipscomb secure the road win and weekend sweep after beating Queens on Friday.
