KNOXVILLE – Lipscomb Women's Golf finished its regular season at the Tennessee Spring Challenge on Monday at Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville. Lipscomb finished eighth in the field that included two, top-31 teams. The Bisons finished at (+42), with round scores of 308 & 310 in the 36 hole, two-round event. 
 
 Three Bisons led the way, all tying for 27^th in the field. Lauren Thompson, Bridget Craig and Casey Yu all finished at (+9). Thompson started her day with an impressive first round, shooting a 73 to sit in 11^th place. In her first round, she was (+1) with one birdie and two bogeys, but she dropped to 27^th after putting up an 80 in the second round. Craig was steady on Monday with a 77 in the first round and a 76 in the second round. She posted two birdies to bolster 24 pars over the two rounds. Yu once again helped pace the Bisons with a 75 in the first round and a 78 in the second round. Yu carded seven birdies throughout her 36 holes in addition to 17 pars. Yu averaged 4.50 on par 5's, tying for the best mark in the field. 
 
Katya Tibbetts was Lipscomb next finisher, tying for 45^th in the field. She put up an 83 in the first round before significantly improving in her second-18 with a 77. All told, K. Tibbetts carded a pair of birdies, both in her second round, to go along with 19 pars. Tzunami Polito rounded out Lipscomb's team scoring. Polito had scores of 83 and 79 in the first and second rounds, respectively to finish tied for 52^nd. 
 
Sonja Tibbetts competed as an individual and tied for 55^th. S. Tibbetts shot an 83 and 81 in the first and second rounds to finish with a 164 total score. 
 
UP NEXT 
Lipscomb will compete in the ASUN Conference Championship April 13-15. The Championship will be held at RTJ at Hampton Cove in Huntsville, Alabama.
