CONWAY, ARK. – Lipscomb Softball closed out the regular season on the road at Central Arkansas, falling in all three contests of the ASUN series. The Bisons dropped Game 1, 8–0 (5 innings) and Game 2, 7–2 on Thursday before falling 9–1 (5 innings) in Friday's finale.
GAME 1: CENTRAL ARKANSAS 8, LIPSCOMB 0 (5 INN.)
Central Arkansas struck early with a run in the first inning before adding two more in the third to take a 3–0 lead.
The Bears broke the game open in the fourth inning, plating four runs to extend their advantage to 7–0.
Central Arkansas added one more in the fifth to secure the run-rule victory.
Lipscomb was limited offensively, recording just one hit in the contest, a double from Presley Rader.
GAME 2: CENTRAL ARKANSAS 7, LIPSCOMB 2
The Bisons jumped out to an early lead, scoring once in the second inning and again in the third to take a 2–0 advantage.
Central Arkansas responded with a run in the second inning and kept the game within reach before a decisive sixth inning.
The Bears erupted for six runs in the bottom of the sixth to take control and secure the 7–2 victory.
Lipscomb totaled eight hits in the contest, with Briley Burns leading the way with two hits. Brenna Sherman and Mac Ogle each drove in a run.
GAME 3: CENTRAL ARKANSAS 9, LIPSCOMB 1 (5 INN.)
Central Arkansas used a big first inning to take control, scoring five runs to jump out to an early lead.
The Bears added four more runs in the fourth inning to extend the advantage to 9–0.
Lipscomb got on the board in the fourth inning when Presley Rader drove in Kyla Jobe to make it 9–1.
The Bisons recorded four hits in the contest, with Jobe, Rader, Josephine Heuberger, and Aubri Ettinger each tallying a hit.
