Tim Muller begins his first year on Lipscomb’s cross country and track & field coaching staff. He is an assistant coach for men’s distance.
Muller graduated from Lipscomb in 2013, after competing on the team for four and a half years. As a redshirt senior in 2013, he was a team captain and helped lead the Lipscomb Men’s Cross Country program to its first ever A-Sun Championship.
Throughout Muller’s career at Lipscomb, he collected many achievements and also faced some adversity. During his fifth and final season, he finished All-Conference and was given the Fighting Bison award. Muller was privileged to compete with many amazing runners during his time at Lipscomb. His teammates’ votes awarded him honors at the end of each season throughout his four years on the team including the Freshman of the Year and Most Valuable awards.
Muller was also always invested in the team’s spiritual development. He served on the Spiritual Direction Team and led several devotional groups during his junior and senior years.
Before coming back to Lipscomb this year, Muller worked as an engineer at Nissan North America in Smyrna, TN. He is proud to be back with the Bisons and helping out a program that invested so much in his life.
He was heavily integrated in the Lipscomb community and missions department during his time here, serving on teams that went to Guatemala and Australia. He graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2013. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Lipscomb.
A native of Denver, Colorado, Tim loves all things outdoors. He is happiest trail running, climbing, skiing, and enjoying God’s creation.
