Stoney Crouch entered his first season as Assistant Coach prior to the 2022-23 season.
Crouch has helped guide the Bisons to Lipscomb history. During the 2023-24 season, the squad earned the ASUN Championship Tournament trophy by a margin of 17 strokes. In addition, Will Holan and Ford Goldasich were tied for the ASUN Tournament Individual title after 54 holes. Will Holan ultimately claimed the title after a playoff. The squad earned an automatic berth to the 2024 Baton Rouge Regional where it finished 11th. The squad also won at the VCU Shootout with a (-33), winning the tournament in a playoff. All told, the Bisons had five top-five finishes on the season and were ranked 65th nationally at the end of the season.
Prior to joining the Lipscomb coaching staff, Crouch spent four years playing professional golf. Crouch spent three seasons on the PGA Tour Canada and played one year on the PGA Local IQ Series (PGA Tour Latin America). In 2020, he finished fifth in the points race in the Local IQ Series and won a Local IQ series event. In addition, Crouch won multiple mini tour events across the southeast.
Before his professional career, Crouch was a standout on the Lipscomb Men’s Golf team from 2014-17. During his time as a Bison, he was part of the program’s first NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship appearance in 2017 in Sugar Grove, Illinois. In 2017, the Mt. Juliet native boasted a Top-5 ASUN Conference Championship finish and earned 2017 Srixon/Cleveland All-American Scholars Team honors.
Crouch graduated from Lipscomb with a degree in Finance in 2017.
He currently resides in Nashville with his wife, Hillary Crouch, who was also a former Lipscomb golfer from 2014-18.
