Set personal-best in the 60m dash at the A-Sun Indoor Championships with a 7.19s mark, finishing 13th... Placed second in he 200m dash at the Governors Invitational with a 22.29s (wind-aided) mark... Part of fourth-place 4x100m relay team at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships with a 41.58s mark... Placed eighth in the 100m dash at the Vanderbilt Invitational with a 10.88s run.

Prep: Competed for Matt Desjarlais at Paulding County (Ga.) High School... Competed in track and field, football and cheerleading... Member of National Honor Society and French Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Melinda Burgess... Plans to major in engineering... Came to Lipscomb to compete in track and field and the good environment.
