Maria Fields joined the Lipscomb University Women’s Soccer staff as Assistant Goalkeeping Coach in May 2026, bringing a strong background in goalkeeper development, recruiting, and student-athlete mentorship.
Fields earned her Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Neuroscience from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she was a goalkeeper for the women’s soccer program. In May of 2026, she graduated early with her Master of Business Administration from North Central College, where she previously served as a graduate assistant coach for the women’s soccer program. In that role, Fields contributed across all areas of program operations, including recruiting coordination, practice planning, opponent scouting, player development, academic monitoring, and data analytics.
Fields specializes in goalkeeper training and has extensive experience working with youth players. Since 2019, she has been a staff coach at Camp Shutout in Wisconsin, the largest goalkeeper camp in the world.
With a passion for player development both on and off the field, Fields brings a well-rounded approach and strong leadership background to the Bisons program.
