Hannah Wright

Hannah Wright joined the Lipscomb University Track and Field coaching staff in the summer of 2026 after a standout collegiate career as one of the most accomplished hurdlers in program history.

A native of Franklin, Tennessee, Wright graduated from Centennial High School before beginning her collegiate career at Lee University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in 2024. She later joined the Bisons as a graduate student and completed her Master of Professional Studies in Leadership in 2026.

During her time at Lipscomb, Wright established herself as one of the premier hurdlers in the ASUN Conference and rewrote the program record book. She currently holds school records in both the indoor 60-meter hurdles (8.42) and outdoor 100-meter hurdles (13.82). In 2026, Wright captured the ASUN Indoor Championship in the 60-meter hurdles, highlighting a career marked by consistent success at the conference and regional levels.

Beyond her accomplishments on the track, Wright was a leader within the Lipscomb Athletics community. She was actively involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes and participated in Lipscomb Athletics mission trips, demonstrating a commitment to servant leadership and faith-based athletics.

As a coach, Wright brings firsthand experience competing at the highest collegiate levels, along with a passion for mentoring student-athletes in their athletic, academic, and spiritual development. Her unique perspective as a recent student-athlete allows her to connect with athletes while helping them pursue excellence in competition and life.

Wright joined the Bisons coaching staff in 2026 and works with the sprints, hurdles, and relays groups.
