Anna Richardson joined the Lipscomb University Athletic Marketing Staff as an Associate Director in August 2026. With a strong foundation in e-commerce and marketing operations, Anna's expertise extends to digital project coordination and campaign management, making her a valuable asset to the university's marketing team.
Before joining Lipscomb University, Richardson was a Marketing Associate at Absolutely Ridiculous, a functional sports art brand in Nashville in 2025-26. In this role, she developed a functional Shopify page with a rotating daily-deal experience, leveraging AI-assisted tools to achieve significant retail value. Her accomplishments included organizing digital marketing assets and developing a Standard Operating Procedure to enhance the product photography process.
Her professional journey began with internships that honed her skills in marketing and community outreach. As a Marketing Intern at Educational Media Foundation (home to K-LOVE and Air1) in Nashville, she supported national radio networks' marketing campaigns, coordinated event logistics, and created presentations to communicate campaign results. Her experience as a Community Outreach Intern at Project 658 involved organizing activities for refugee and underserved youth and coaching participants in a multi-sport camp setting.
During her collegiate career, Richardson served as President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Lipscomb University in the 2023-24 academic year. In this role, she directed planning for the university's annual Lippy Awards ceremony and advocated for student-athlete interests, leading to policy changes that enhanced support for athletes.
Competing with the Bisons track and field program from 2021-25, she was named the ASUN Indoor Freshman of the Year after winning the Pentathlon with a score of 3,562 points. In the five events, she placed first or second in three of them, including clearing 1.68 meters in the high jump to win the event.
Over the course of her career, she was a 10-time medalist between the outdoor seasons. Competing in multis (Pentathlon in the indoor and Heptathlon in the outdoor), she earned Second Team honors in the Heptathlon four of the five seasons.
Richardson graduated from Lipscomb in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in management and marketing, and was a member of the Dean's List throughout her collegiate career. In 2025, she earned a Master of Arts in organizational leadership.
