Lipscomb Lady Bisons golfer Katie Pursell lost to University of Kentucky golfer Alyssa Randolph Thursday in the second round of match play in the 69th Women’s Amateur Championship at the Memphis Country Club in Memphis, Tenn.

Randolph was the second opponent in a row from the Southeastern Conference for Pursell. Randolph held a four-stroke lead with three holes left.

Pursell beat Jilian Brodd from the University of Mississippi in the first round of match play Wednesday. Pursell, a junior from Hendersonville, Tenn., held a three-stroke lead over Brodd with two holes left to play to end the match.
