NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lipscomb Women's Golf team will host The Nashville Invitational at the General's Retreat Golf Course in Hermitage, Tenn. on March 23-24.
The event will be the second consecutive season the Bisons have hosted the tournament in Nashville and the second tournament the Bisons have hosted this season. Lipscomb has hosted a golf tournament in each of the past six seasons, including the Lady Bison Classic at Bay Point Golf Club in Panama City Beach, Fla. (2021-24) and The Robbie at Hampton Cove Golf Course (2024-25) in Huntsville, Ala.
The Nashville Invitational will take place at the General's Retreat Golf Course, which was designed by Gary Roger Baird. The course, playing up to 6,700 yards, hosted the LPGA Sara Lee Classic from 1988-1999 and has been voted the "Best Golf Course in Nashville." The course winds through acres of natural Tennessee wetlands along the Cumberland River.
The field includes 16 teams, including three ASUN competitors in Austin Peay, Bellarmine, and North Alabama. Local rivals Tennessee State and Belmont will also be competing. Memphis will also make the in-state trip to join the field.

The practice round will take place on Sunday, March 22, and the tournament will begin Monday, March 23, with a double shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. CT. The final round will also be a shotgun start at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24.
Admission to the event is free, and fans are encouraged to attend the competition.
Lipscomb goes into the competition with momentum after finishing third at the Magnolia Collegiate earlier in March. The Bisons rank #119 entering the tournament, behind only one school in the field, Delaware (#111). Other top-150 teams in the field include Seattle (#120) and Ball State (#138). This season, Lipscomb has been led this season by
Savannah Howell, the highest-ranked Bison on the squad, with her best finish coming at the Magnolia Collegiate. Other key contributors have been
Casey Yu,
Katya Tibbetts,
Ava Bankston,
Christina Surcey and Maria Alcocer. Yu has been hitting her stride this spring, boasting Lipscomb's best finish of the season at the Magnolia Collegiate, finishing third in a field of 79 competitors.
