Lipscomb Women's Golf to Host The Nashville Invitational For Second Time March 23-24

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lipscomb Women's Golf team will host The Nashville Invitational at the General's Retreat Golf Course in Hermitage, Tenn. on March 23-24.

The event will be the second consecutive season the Bisons have hosted the tournament in Nashville and the second tournament the Bisons have hosted this season. Lipscomb has hosted a golf tournament in each of the past six seasons, including the Lady Bison Classic at Bay Point Golf Club in Panama City Beach, Fla. (2021-24) and The Robbie at Hampton Cove Golf Course (2024-25) in Huntsville, Ala.

The Nashville Invitational will take place at the General's Retreat Golf Course, which was designed by Gary Roger Baird. The course, playing up to 6,700 yards, hosted the LPGA Sara Lee Classic from 1988-1999 and has been voted the "Best Golf Course in Nashville." The course winds through acres of natural Tennessee wetlands along the Cumberland River.

The field includes 16 teams, including three ASUN competitors in Austin Peay, Bellarmine, and North Alabama. Local rivals Tennessee State and Belmont will also be competing. Memphis will also make the in-state trip to join the field.
