ATLANTA, Ga. - For the second time this fall season, sophomore Emily Keeling was named the ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week, announced by the league office on Thursday.
Keeling led the Bisons to a second place finish in their last tournament of the fall season at the Town and Country Invitational earlier this week and finished in fifth place in the medalist race.
The Farragut, Tenn. native fired back-to-back rounds of 71 for a 2-over, 142 total. She was also apart of starting lineup that carded a new school-record for the lowest 18-hole team score, as the Purple and Gold posted a 285 in the first-round.
The sophomore had a fantastic start to the 2019-20 season by placing in the top-five in four of five tournaments and she also led the Bisons in scoring average at 73.36.
Lipscomb has finished its fall portion of the season and will return to the links on Feb. 17-18 at the Amelia Island Collegiate in Fernandina Beach, Fla.
