SET 1
The Bisons led from start to finish after winning the first six points of the set. The lead grew to seven points on three occasions, including 18-11 after back-to-back kills from Bacus. The Sugar Bears (3-10, 1-3) tried to make a late run, but a kill from Gish spared a 3-0 run to end the set in Lipscomb's favor, 25-20.

Addi Pelham and Kathleen Lowry led the way in the frame with four kills each, while Gish and Bacus each added three. Dilfer was credited with 15 assists on 17 kills and the team was able to dig out 17 balls.

SET 2
The second frame saw UCA control a majority of the way, leading 18-13 after a kill from Amari Mitchell. Gish and Aubele recorded back-to-back kills before Bacus and Mersman put together a little run to get Lipscomb to within two at 20-18. Out of subs, the Bisons were able to work some magic and closed the set on an 8-4 run. Having not led a single time in the set, consecutive kills from Aubele and Gish put the Bisons in front 24-23 and then eventually earned the win at 26-24.

Gish was flat dominant in the set with seven kills (.600), while Aubele (.800) and Mersman (.500) each collected four. The offense was nearly unstoppable for both sides as 20 of the final 21 total points came by way of kills, including 18 straight at one point. Lipscomb hit .368 and UCA swung .355.
