SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – Despite outshooting #17 Saint Louis 10-9, Lipscomb men's soccer dropped a 2-0 decision to the Billikens Sunday night at Hermann Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lipscomb went on the attack early, earning two corner kicks in the first minute of the match. The Bisons continued to pressure Saint Louis and
Alejandro Lopez got off the first Lipscomb shot of the night in the 14' minute.
Saint Louis netted the go-ahead goal in the 19' minute. The Billikens broke away for a one-on-one opportunity and Sibley was there to make a great save, but a streaking Billiken was there to put away the rebound for a 1-0 lead.
The Bisons threatened to find the equalizer in the 26' minute when
Hayes Wood weaved through a host of defenders to get a shot off and earn the side's third corner of the night.
Lipscomb continued with good sustained pressure in the final minutes of the first half with several good chances near goal.
Sibley continued to be impressive between the pipes, coming off his line in the 48' minute to collect a cross and deny a breakaway opportunity.
The Bisons continued to search for the equalizer and nearly found it in the 50' minute. After a great ball off a set piece was deflected out for a corner kick, Gulden got a head on the end of the service, but the shot went wide right.
Saint Louis netted its second goal of the night when they converted from the spot for a 2-0 lead.
Lipscomb continued to pepper the goal with shots but struggled to find the back of the net. In the 86' minute, the Bisons' best look of the night came when Gulden rocketed a shot forcing a diving save.
