ESTERO, Fla. - The Lipscomb men's golf team finished play at the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon and placed 6th with a three-round total of 885 (293-298-294).
Ford Goldasich had the best finish for the Bisons firing a two-under, 70 in the final round. Goldasich ended the tournament in sole position of ninth place at 217 (74-73-70), which marked his first top-10 performance of the season.
Linus Samuelsson finished just outside the top-10, tying for 11th at 219 after shooting a 75 in the final round.
Austin Aliff tied for 25th at 224 following an even-par, 72 final round outing.
"Today was a day we were close, but close is not where we need to be as we head into conference," Director of Golf Will Brewer said. "We continue to do many things well, however, we need to eliminate a few mistakes and do a better job executing shots throughout the round."
The Bisons will now prepare for the ASUN Championship, which will be held in Athens, Georgia April 18-20.
