JACKSONVILLE, Fla – Ignited by an early goal from freshman
Noa Ganthier, the Bisons cruised to a convincing win over Jacksonville to tally the first ASUN win of the season on Sunday afternoon.
Lipscomb started the game on the front foot and commanded possession early. The Bisons fired multiple shots, and asked questions of the Dolphins back line. Jacksonville created a dangerous chance from a corner kick in the opening stages but a diving save from
CJ Graham kept the ball out and kept the Bisons on level terms.
The Bisons capitalized on their dominance in the eighth minute when
Molly Grant played a to the feet of Ganthier inside the box who took her chance with class and slotted home the opening goal.
There was a clear commitment to defending and managing the game by Lipscomb as the back line only allowed
CJ Graham to face four shots on goal while the attack took 12 total shots while placing five on goal.

Shelby Craft sealed the game for Lipscomb in the 64
th minute when her strike from outside the Jacksonville penalty area looped into the upper right-hand corner of the goal to double the Bison lead.
