Asadullah drops 30 as Bisons defeat North Alabama in ASUN opener

NASHVILLE – Welcome back, Ahsan.

In his first game back playing full minutes, Asadullah scored a season high 30 points as the Lipscomb men's basketball team earned an 84-74 victory in its ASUN Conference opener over North Alabama Tuesday night in Allen Arena.

The Bisons improved to 8-8 overall and 1-0 in league play, while the Lions dropped to 7-7 and 0-1.

After being limited to 17 minutes last week in his return against Alabama A&M, Asadullah was unleashed tonight for 28 minutes. The Atlanta product enjoyed a big 30-point night on 13-of-21 shooting, while grabbing six rebounds and dishing a game-high five assists.

Freshman guard Will "Rodman" Pruitt posted a career night on the boards, cleaning up nearly every rebound possible. The Mt. Juliet native reeled in 16 of the Bisons 41 total rebounds for a career high. He also added eight points and three assists in a career high 39 minutes.
