Men's Golf posts best round on final day of Coral Creek Club Invitational

PLACIDA, Fla. – After a struggle on day one, the Lipscomb men's golf team bounced back in the final round to post their best total of the week and wrap up play at the Coral Creek Club Invitational.
The Bisons returned to the links this week after a month's layoff and the rust was ever present in the first round with a 302, but the Bisons bounced back with a 289 in round two and a 284 in round three to post a two-day total of 875, finishing 13th as a team.
Ford Goldasich led the team with a 214 to finish tied for 21st. After an opening-round 74, he improved in each of the next two rounds with a 71 and a team-best 69 on Tuesday.
Austin Aliff finished five strokes behind Goldasich with a 219 (77-72-70) to tie for 42nd. Will Holan tied for 51st with rounds of 77-71-73 for a total of 221.

- The Bisons shot 875 as a team for the third time in seven tournaments this season.
- Goldasich led the 88-person field with a 3.94 scoring average on par-4's. He shot -2 for the invitational and was one of only five players to play under par. He led the team with nine birdies on the week.
- Jason Hong tied for 62nd with a 224 (77-75-72).
- Jack Morris finished 86th with a 240 (74-82-84).
- The Bisons carded 173 pars and 28 birdies as a team in Florida.
