Women's Golf leads The Johnie Imes Invitational after day two

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Lipscomb women's golf team did just what you're supposed to do on moving day, they moved up the leaderboard with a 288 in round two and now sit in first place at The Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Missouri.

The Bisons will enter the final round four strokes clear of Missouri and 10 strokes ahead of third-place Northern Illinois.

Siarra Stout shot an even par 72 on Tuesday and is tied for third overall with a two-day total of 141 (-3). She is two strokes behind the leader.

Mary Kate Smith fired the hot round of the day for the Bisons, posting a -1, 71 to put her in fifth place all alone with a 144 (E).

Lauren Thompson will enter day three in a tie for 17^th after shooting a +3, 75. She is four over for the week and four strokes behind Smith.

Mia Seeman and Ally Williams each are tied for 22^nd with a 150 (+6). After shooting a 78 on day one, Seeman turned it around with an even par 72 on Tuesday with four birdies on the scorecard.

Williams birdied three on the front nine and finished the day one over with a 73.
