NASHVILLE, TN – Lipscomb's men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals in Madison WI. The Bisons had fifteen runners compete in the event with eight running in the Women's 6k and seven in the Men's 8k.
Women's 6k "A" Race
The women started their race at 10:00 AM CT where Lipscomb placed 16
th out of the 33 teams competing with a total of 480 points. The Bisons were led by
Colbi Borland, who recorded a time of 20:17.9 to finish 58
th. Less than seven seconds later,
Mackenzie Barnett crossed the finish in 20:24.1 to place 69
th. Also finishing within the top-100 was
Harley Kletz, who crossed 99
th with a time of 20:35.8.
Ellie Brewer (20:49.4) was the next Bison to finish in 127
th place, followed closely behind by 133
rd-place Lina Perez (20:53.2).
Carmen Krawczynski Gonzalez (21:07.8) finished 168
th and
Kiara Carter (21:15.5) in 188
th. The Bisons were rounded out by
Leonie Saurer (21:50.2) in 229
th of 250 runners.

The men started their race at 10:40 AM CT and placed 29
th of 32 teams with a total of 699 points. The Bisons were led by
Matt Hansen, finishing 129
th out of 244 runners.
Braedon Palmer crossed second for Lipscomb in 134
th with a time of 24:11.5.
Owen Horevay set a personal best by nearly 20 seconds with a time of 24:14.3 to place 142
nd.
Ben Butcher (24:16.2) crossed 145
th, followed by
Cole Kimmel (24:24.2) in 165
th with a personal best performance. The Bisons were rounded out by
