HOW IT HAPPENED

The action in the match started just 30 seconds in when Central Arkansas recorded earned a shot to apply pressure to Lipscomb's keeper Noah Kump in his first career start with the Bisons. The shot was wide right but set the aggressive tone of the match early.

Lipscomb's offense responded immediately when Javanne Smith found an opening to Tyler Stinnett inside the box in the 7' minute, but Central Arkansas was able to stop the play before Lipscomb could score.

Central Arkansas scored the first goal of the match in the 9' minute when Elijah Bishop from the Bears recorded a shot on goal which Kump was seemingly able to save, but the referee determined the ball crossed the plane and was rewarded as a goal.

Kump was able to record four saves in the first half to keep Lipscomb in the game while scoreless. In the 23' minute, Kump defied the odds in a one-on-one matchup against an attacker on the Bears to save the ball and prevent Central Arkansas from earning a two-point lead.

Just before halftime in the 40' minute, Daniel Stampatori found an opening to test Central Arkansas's keeper, but his shot was saved. The Bisons went into the second half scoreless, despite recording six shots with four being on goal.

The Bears continued to apply pressure with a couple shots banging off the woodwork in the early minutes of the second frame.

Lipscomb's Daniel Stampatori posed a threat to Central Arkansas's defense all night and in the 75' minute, he nearly tied up the match up with a shot from outside the box. Despite his best efforts, Stampatori's shot forced a Central Arkansas diving save.

Central Arkansas's Devonte Richards was able to find Pietro Fontana in the 78' minute for what was ruled as a goal after being reviewed for offsides. Fontana was able to sneak behind the Lipscomb defense and easily place the ball in the goal and the ruling on the field stood to put the Bears up two goals with just over 12 minutes of action left.

In the 88' minute, Stampatori was able to force an own goal for the Bears to put the Bisons on the board.

The Bisons ended the match in a 1-2 loss as they fell to the Bears.
