NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University volleyball team posted a .425 attack percentage on the night to sweep Bellarmine University Friday night inside Allen Arena.
With the win, Lipscomb punched its ticket to the 2024 Atlantic Sun Conference Championship, which will be held Nov. 21-23 in Fort Myers, Florida.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bisons saw themselves down 17-11 in the opening set. However, a 12-6 run put Lipscomb right back in it, as a
Meg Mersman made it a 23-23 score.
Bellarmine tried to slow down the momentum with a timeout, but a
Cora ter Kuile block and a
Kelsey Schenck ace finished off the 14-6 run to give Lipscomb the opening set win.
Sets two and three showed strong dominance, posting .500 attack percentages in the last two frames to roll past the Knights 25-9 and 25-12.
LUV committed two errors on the final 47 swings with 28 kills and held Bellarmine to 11.
