Dan Karsten Named First ASUN Player of the Week

NASHVILLE -- Lipscomb Men's Soccer's Dan Karsten was named the ASUN first Player of the Week of the season, the league announced Monday.
Karsten, a freshman from Erfurt, Germany, scored Lipscomb's opening goal of the season in his first collegiate game. He put the Bisons ahead in the 23' minute when he received a ball from Keegan Yorke on the back line and cut into his left foot and put a brilliant strike to the top-left corner of the goal.
The Bisons defeated [RV] Memphis 2-1 to open its 2024 slate.
Lipscomb will now head to the West Coast to take on both University of San Diego and UC San Diego on Aug. 29 and Sept. 1, respectively.
