HOW IT HAPPENED
The first minutes of the match were played largely in the midfield as the sides found the match.
In the 13' minute,
Dan Karsten had the best look of the match so far with a one-on-one shot that the Queens keeper stretched out to save.
Lipscomb continued to put the pressure on the Queens goal when
Matteo Colombo forced another save in the 16' minute with a hard shot from near the penalty spot.
Queens was called on yet again for another couple of big saves later in the half in the 34' minute as the Bisons continued to apply pressure but continued to search for the goal.
With just a few seconds left in the first half,
Tyler Stinnett put a shot off the crossbar that
Levi Jones followed up with a header shot, but once again, the Queens keeper was up to the task of making big saves to keep the Bisons off the board.
Even though the Bisons had the better of the chances throughout the first half, the score remained at a scoreless draw after the first 45.
The Bisons dominated possession in the opening minutes of the second frame. Lipscomb, however, continued to search for the back of the net with 25 minutes to play.
Lipscomb nearly got on the board again in the 72' minute when
Bubu Medina took a shot from the top of the box that banged off the woodwork and out of play.
The Bisons continued to dominate possession and play, but were ultimately unable to find the back of the net as the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
