Six Women’s Cross Country Runners Compete at the Nuttycombe Invite

NASHVILLE, TN – Six Lipscomb women's cross-country runners competed in the Nuttycombe Invitational on Friday afternoon in Madison, WI. The Bisons ended up placing 15^th of 25 teams above ACC, Pac-12, and SEC competitors among others.

The Women's 6k Championship race started at 12:20 PM CT. Mackenzie Barnett was the first of the Bisons to cross the finish with a time of 20:53.0, placing 36^th overall. Harley Kletz and Colbi Borland finished in tandem with times of 20:57.1 and 20:57.9 to place 50^th and 51^st respectively.

Ellie Brewer (21:30.9) finished 106^th of the 190 runners who finished the race. Linda Perez (21:45.9) crossed 132^nd and Kiara Carter (21:49.9) 139^th. Carmen Krawczynski Gonzalez (21:56.8) crossed the line 147^th and Leonie Saurer (23:01.7) rounded out the competition for Lipscomb.
