Manias Named ASUN Golfer of the Week

NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Men's Golf's Minas Manias was named the ASUN Golfer of the Week, the league announced Thursday. Manias earns the honor after winning his first collegiate individual championship at the Everett Buick GMC Classic in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Manias was in the lead after the first round of competition, carding a 64 (-8), and never surrendered the lead. He stayed on track with a 69 (-3) in the second round and was ahead by a stroke heading into the final day of competition. He closed things out with a 69, finishing at (-14). All told, he had 16 birdies and an eagle en route to his victory.
He helped lead the Bisons to a third-place finish at the event.
