NASHVILLE -- Lipscomb Women's Golf's Ava Bankston was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced thursday.

Bankston finished tied for fifth at The Robbie, hosted in Huntsville, Ala., this weekend. She recorded 38 pars (a top-3 mark in the field) and seven birdies over three rounds. The freshman's performance helped lead the Bisons to a second-place team finish, bested only by the University of Georgia. She also finished top-5 in the field in Par 5 scoring (-5).
