Additionally, Jalyn Holcomb became the all-time Lipscomb leader in 3-pointers made.

Final Score: Lipscomb 92, West Georgia 75
Location: Nashville, Tennessee (Allen Arena)
Records: Lipscomb (14-8, 7-4), West Georgia (8-14, 2-9)

HOW IT HAPPENED
Despite the Wolves keeping pace early in the opening stanza, the Bisons used a 10-4 run after a Jalyn Holcomb triple and a Taylor Bowen layup helped improve the lead to 20-12 en route to a 22-15 opening quarter.

UWG did not go away in the second quarter, as a K'Nari Holliday jumper off a turnover made it a 30-28 advantage for Lipscomb. On the other end, after an Elena Bertrand offensive board, Holcomb fired from downtown to swing the momentum back to the home squad.

That 3-pointer sparked an 11-4 run to end the half to give the Bisons the 44-32 advantage.

West Georgia cut the deficit down to eight, 49-41 midway through the third quarter with a Grace O'Gara triple. However, Lipscomb found their stroke, going on a 13-1 run in about a four-minute span. Bella Vinson got the offense back in the right direction with a 3-pointer and later a steal and score.

Bertrand followed with a second chance jumper, while Isabella Pitta knocked down a three to cap the run and swell the lead to 21 points, 63-42.

The Bisons, who drained 11-of-19 from the floor in the third quarter, shot 50% for the game. Corralling 13 rebounds on the offensive glass, the Bisons converted it to 16 second chance points.

KEY STATISTICS
Bella Vinson knocked down 22 points and eight rebounds, including four on the offensive end, as she finished 9-of-16 in the field and added four thefts. 10 of her 22 points came in the third quarter, drilling four of her five shots from the field.

Jalyn Holcomb added 16 for the Bisons with three assists, and Claira McGowan totaled 15 points and grabbed seven boards.

Off the bench, Taylor Bowen went 5-of 9 from the field and totaled 14 points, five rebounds and two steals.

HERD NOTES
One record down. Jalyn Holcomb's triple with 4:11 left in the second quarter was the 208th in her career helped her become the all-time leader in three-pointers made in Division I history. She surpassed Anna Bowers, who had 208 from 2009-12.

That is not the only Lipscomb record she is after. She is 28 points away from the all-time scoring record since Lipscomb became full members of Division I in 2003-04.

Lipscomb scored 90 points in an ASUN game for the first time this season and the first since North Florida last season. The 92 the Bisons dropped on the Wolves is the third-most in an ASUN game in 2025.

The Bisons scored 50 of the team's 92 points in the paint on Thursday, marking the third time this season they have achieved it in a game.

UP NEXT
After the weekend Florida trip and a quick stop at home, the Bisons are back on the road on Saturday, taking on in-state foe Austin Peay for a 2 p.m. tip from Clarksville.
