BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Lipscomb University women's tennis team took down Austin Peay State University by a 4-3 score on Sunday afternoon from the Michael O. Buchanon Indoor Tennis Facility.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Despite both teams securing a doubles flight, it was Lipscomb's Rut Galindo and Deborah Dominguez Collado (4-1) picked up the 7-5 victory on court two to give the Bisons the 1-0 lead. 

APSU evened the match at a set apiece with Luca's Bohlen's win on court four to start singles play, but Lipscomb took over from there, winning the next two points to lead 3-1. 

On court three, Collado (7-5) won 6-3, 6-0 over Asia Fontana, while Mariia Dolznehko (17-7) earned her seventh straight win and improved to 9-1 on the spring with a 6-4, 6-2 result at the top flight. 

Sofiia Zhylchuk (11-8) clinched the match for the Bisons on court five with a 6-2, 6-3 win.
