NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University women's tennis team saw a 3-0 lead slip away, as the University of Central Arkansas won the final four singles points to take down the Bisons, 4-3, Monday afternoon from the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lipscomb started out strong in doubles with wins on courts two and three to get out to the 1-0 lead. 
Deborah Dominguez Collado and 
Rut Galindo (6-1) picked up the 6-3 win to start, and 
Kameliia Tytarenko/
Serafima Bobrovnikova (1-2) won 6-3. 
Lipscomb rolled up to a 3-0 lead with victories from the top two flights in singles. On court one, 
Sofiia Paladi (22-6) won 6-1, 6-0, while 
Mariia Dolzhenko (19-7) won her ninth straight spring match after her opponent retired midway through the second set. 
However, the Sugar Bears responded with wins on court six and four to make it a 3-2 score. 
On court three, 
Rut Galindo won the first set 6-4 but dropped the second, 6-3. In the third, down 5-2, Galindo found a spark, winning four straight points to reclaim the lead, 6-5. However, Konomi Miyakawa forced a tiebreak by winning the next point and evening the set at six points apiece. 
In the tiebreak, Miyakawa stormed out to a 4-0 lead en route to a 7-2 result to even the match up at three. 
On court five, Ting-An Chen overcame a first set loss to 
Sofiia Zhylchuk to take the match, 3-6, 6-2, 6-1.
