NASHVILLE – Sofiia Zhylchuk's win on court six was the decider for Lipscomb University, as they defeated Florida Gulf Coast University, 4-3, Friday from the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bisons got on the board first with wins on court one and court two in doubles play, despite FGCU winning at the third flight.
Deborah Dominguez Collado and Rut Galindo (7-1) extended their doubles win streak to five straight with a 6-3 score.
Sofiia Paladi and Mariia Dolzhenko (5-5) put Lipscomb ahead 1-0 with their 6-4 win at the top flight.
In singles, the Eagles quickly took the 2-1 lead with straight-set wins at the No. 2 and 5 flights, but the Bisons responded with a 6-3, 6-4 win by Paladi (23-6) to pick up her 12th win this spring.
Dominguez Collado (9-6) made it a 3-2 lead after dropping Nora Svensson, 6-4, 7-6 (4), on court four.
However, Anijai Kotecha rallied from a first set loss to win the next two, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, to even it all again at three points apiece.
Coming down to the sixth and final singles point, Sofiia Zhylchuk (12-10) recovered from an opening set loss to defeat Paloma Goldsmith, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, to win the match for the Bisons.
